Betty’s Bahama Nonna in a tall orange-and-red cocktail glass with pineapple, orange, and a cherry at a tropical beach bar.

Betty’s Bahama Nonna

Betty's tropical drink goes down smoother than its generous measure of rum might suggest. Shake it until icy so the citrus and pineapple stay bright through each cold sip.

This spin on the Bahama Mama is fruity, citrusy, and layered with pineapple, orange, coconut, and bold rum flavor in every cold sip! Shaken until icy and served over fresh ice with fruit garnish, it’s a strong tropical cocktail that fits perfectly at summer parties, beach gatherings, and warm evenings outdoors.

Granny’s Kitchen Notes

From Betty Lou Gardner

I usually add a little lime because it keeps the drink from turning overly sweet once the ice starts melting. This one is stronger and smoother than you’d expect, so I try very hard to sip it slowly.
