This Fresh Strawberry Crown Pie is cool, glossy, and packed with sweet fresh strawberries folded into a bright homemade berry glaze inside a flaky crust! Finished with soft vanilla whipped cream and piled high with berries, it’s the kind of classic refrigerator pie that feels especially perfect for summer gatherings and holiday tables.

Granny’s Kitchen Notes

From Betty Lou Gardner

I always dry the strawberries well first because extra water makes the filling thinner than it ought to be. Sometimes I scatter a few blueberries over the top because they make the pie look prettier sitting out on the table during summertime suppers.
